So many people confuse being irresponsible with being fun and having self-control with being boring

Piping hot tea because some of y'all really think it’s cute to be out here casually ruining your health and lives

i break out in hives every time i have to read some variation of “[species that could kill you] are just really big dogs”

folks thinking everything is a petting zoo is why i have to keep seeing headlines about people at yellowstone being killed by bison

Deinonychus are just feathery dogs ignore the deep gashes on my arms

I know those animals are cute and neat and all but trust me they will kill you if get close. Whether the are threatened or hungry depends on the species and mood.

the guira cuckoo is such an aesthetically pleasing bird that lots of people dont seem to know a lot abt despite the fact that from some angles they look like Literal Dinosaurs

….but then from other angles

…..fluffy angry dinosaurs

Does anyone have these at their zoo because I need to see one

spankzilla85:

Look I know I harp on this a lot, but the thing that really grinds my gears about modern reactions to Godzilla movies is this assumption that the filmmakers were somehow totally incompetent to the point where they thought that audiences would be “fooled“ by an actor in a monster suit.

They knew, guys. They all knew that they were making a movie where it was obvious that it was a guy in a suit. That was never questioned. It’s a different culture and a different mentality of making films. Don’t sit there and pretend like you are some sort of cinema savant by pointing out the obvious.

twocorndogs:

rehoming a pet by finding a loving caring person to take them in, or finding a good rescue organization or shelter, doesn’t make you a bad pet owner or a bad person

circumstances sometimes necessitate a major change. it’s not your fault.

i think some people could use a reminder

Feeding your pet so much that it becomes obese is animal abuse.

Having seen dogs who can barely move due to their weight, I agree.
